10 Facts You Don’t Know About Me
I really enjoy reading these posts by other bloggers, as it gives you a deeper picture of them, so I thought I’d also share some facts about me:
1. I am afraid of deep water, but I love being near the sea
(I can just about be persuaded to go on a boat, and I really enjoy kayaking; I just have to try and not think about the creatures lurking down there!)

2. I moved out at 16 to live with N, four hours away from my family
(I moved from Cornwall to study my A Levels in Bristol, and had the best fun ever!)
3. Coriander tastes like poison to me; how can people eat it??
(Apparently this is quite common. N’s mum also thinks it tastes like poisonous soap!)
4. I was a cat person until we got Pepper
(I’d never owned a dog, and have only started being really interested in all the breeds in the last 2 years! As well as French Bulldogs, I also love Italian Greyhounds and Huskies.)

5. I went to Uni for 6 months and then left
(Best decision I’ve made in my life.)
6. I got my nose pierced when I was 15
(I didn’t tell my parents, and my strict private school weren’t too happy about it. It really hurt to take it out, so they made me wear a huge plaster on my face because apparently that was less obtrusive than a tiny silver stud.)
7. We’ve lived in our house for over 6 months now, and I haven’t taken a bath
(Obviously I have washed! I mean that I haven’t taken advantage of our amazing bath tub. I don’t know why but I can’t relax in the bath; as soon as I get in my mind goes crazy thinking of everything I should be doing instead.)

8. When I was younger I wanted to be a film Director
(I still could be, damn it.)
9. I failed my driving test 3 times
(I’ve always been practically challenged, and learning to drive was an uphill struggle. I eventually passed, but Pepper recently ate my pass certificate, so the only proof I have now is my actual licence…)
10. I’ve never broken a bone
(Touch wood. Miraculously, I have never significantly injured myself or been ill enough to go to hospital.)

Oh my gosh your dog is the CUTEST!!! I really want to get a French bulldog when we move into our own house, how do you find having Pepper?
Sophie Cliff
Awh :) they are the cutest! And firstly I would say do some research about having a dog in general if you’ve never had one before, and consider whether to get a dog or puppy (I’ve written a post called 10 Things You Can’t Do When You Have a Puppy).
As a breed, frenchies are hilarious and entertaining. She has been quite easy to train, and a huge bonus of this breed is that they rarely ever bark!
Research the health problems and make sure they’re health checked etc. and be aware that between the age of 5 and 10 months they can be prone to breaking legs due to their bone structure and how heavy they are, so get good insurance (Morethan is great, costs £19 a month).
Online everywhere says that frenchies need minimal exercise, but I’ve found that isn’t exactly true. I think it probably depends dog to dog, but Pepper needs quite a lot!
Frenchies are also known for being crazy! They aren’t calm dogs haha they go a bit mental, but again it can depend on the dog.
Hope this helps! xxxx
I know what you mean my not being able to relax In abbath. And I always feel so light headed and just not well after a bath haha. I hated learning to drive too..I was so nervous for the tests! I passed mine second time round thankfully! I love these kind of posts too. They’re great for getting to know the blogger better :) have a lovely week! X

Glad you enjoyed it! :) glad I’m not alone with the bath thing! It also makes me feel a bit odd afterwards, apparently it’s because of having low blood pressure! x
I’m not the best at relaxing in a bath, but I find having the radio on, cocktail in hand that helps me out! I’m totally a cat person but i’m getting tempted by the idea of getting a dog after we fix up our house a little more.
Dogs (especially puppies!) are much more hard work than it seems, particularly when you’re not used to them! Definitely check out my post on ’10 Things You Can’t Do When You Have a Puppy’ if you’re seriously considering it :) just a warning!
I shall try the radio and cocktail idea, thanks :P x
Sok my OH grew up with dogs so we’ll have some idea hopefully.
I hate coriander too! It was a real problem when I went to India for a month haha

Oh God yeah! I love Indian curries but I always have to make sure there’s no coriander in it…I imagine that’s pretty difficult when you’re travelling though! x
I used to be a cat person too until Leo came along and totally agree with the coriander thing, it’s gross. I have never broken a bone either which is a good thing because I cannot deal with pain haha. Oh, and I don’t really get baths, I just get bored in them, they are not my cup of tea for relaxing. I am about to start learning to drive and it scares the hell out of me! x
p.s. Pepper is SO cute!
Hehe thank you!
Glad you can relate to most of these :D Haha, everyone always says to take a bath if you need to relax, but for me it’s the least relaxing thing ever! I like to relax by cleaning or making things because the satisfaction is great! I just feel guilty if I lie in the bath doing nothing while I could be doing other things, and guilt is like, the least relaxing feeling ever! x
Wah – be careful, I said I had never broken a bone about two hours before I broke my arm! I am a cat and a dog person!! That bath tub is beautiful – I would probably live in it!
N does live in it haha xD
And oh dear, I should probably be extra careful now! x
How can you not have taken a bath in that amazing tub?! And ditto to not breaking anything (tough wood!)

I know right – such a nice bath! N makes use out of it though so it doesn’t go to waste haha :) x
