There’s actually so many great music events and festivals happening in Cornwall this year!
It’s super exciting – I love festival season! And it’s brilliant that there are so many things happening in the South West in particular.
Below are some of my top picks that you definitely need to be adding to your list this summer!
Summer Masked Ball
25th – 27th May, Porthleven
Yes that’s right – that’s this weekend! You can still get tickets though – with loads of different stages and a stunning location on the cliffs, this 3 day party-with-a-view is gonna be BIG!

The Great Estate
1st – 3rd June, Scorrier
I attended this last year with Alice and we had a great time (albeit a little too good-a-time thanks to copious amounts of wine…). I love the theming of this event, with a crazy circus feel and great, quirky artists too.

Tunes in the Dunes
8th – 10th June, Perranporth
With big artists like Protoje, Jake Bugg and Pixie Lott, this festival is always highly anticipated. Plus, it’s actually ON the beach! Last year, at the end of the Saturday night, we all ended up running into the sea for a moonlit swim too.

Boardmasters
8th – 12th August, Newquay
I love Boardmasters, and have been 4 or 5 times now. I haven’t decided yet if I’ll be going this year but with artists like The Chemical Brothers, Years & Years and Craig David, it’s hard to resist! It’s massive and always loads of fun… plus you can’t beat dancing on the cliffs at sunset.
