5 Beautiful Campsites in Cornwall
It’s that time of year when I develop a strange urge to spend the night under the stars in a field somewhere…
It could be the fact that I have never had a bad camping trip experience (the sun seems to be on my side for some reason!), but I seriously enjoy it! There’s nothing better than getting together with friends and family for some good outdoors fun and a barbecue (or several!).

1. Meadow Lakes

If you’re looking for peace, quiet, and perhaps a bit of casual fishing, Meadow Lakes is the perfect place. The surrounding countryside, with its fishing lakes and beautiful walks, is idyllic, and the campsite itself has some great facilities (including a kids playground, swimming pool, games room, shop and petting farm).

2. Gwithian Farm

At the edge of the beach, Gwithian Farm is the perfect campsite for surfers or families who love to spend all day in the water!
£15 – £26 price per night including two people, car and tent
3. Hendra Holiday Park

Hendra is a more busy camping destination, but it is an ideal place for young families, due to the many activities, entertainment and awesome swimming pools on site!
£5.80 – £9.99 per person per night
4. Beacon Cottage Farm

Just 10 minutes walk from the beautiful Chapel Porth beach on the North Coast of Cornwall, Beacon Cottage Farm is small, peaceful and dog friendly. You’ll be within walking distance to some of the county’s most stunning coastal walks.
£18 – £14 price per night including two people, car and tent
5. St. Martin’s campsite (Isles of Scilly)

So this may be cheating; it isn’t technically in Cornwall! The Isles of Scilly are a group of stunning, white-sand islands off the coast on Cornwall, which quaint fishing villages and quiet bays that look like they’re in the Bahamas!
You can get there by boat or helicopter, and dogs are welcome. The islands are so small that you won’t need a car (if you have lots of stuff you can get local taxis), and you can spend your time exploring, bike riding or doing a variety of watersports.
£10 – £11.50 per person per night
Oh wow, now that’s camping! It’s not even wildly expensive considering what they have to offer. The second to last one, the farm by the beach, looks just holymolywow.

In Cornwall I always go to Wheal Rodney in Marazion – love it – or Treglisson which is owned by my childhood bf’s parents. I love camping in Cornwall x
