A Collection of Favourite Photos
The other day I went through my old photo albums on Facebook, and took a trip down memory lane.
Sadly, last year my laptop had to be sent away to laptop heaven, taking all my precious files and photos with it. It was a sad time, and since then I’ve relied on old Facebook uploads to relive my favourite memories.
Also 4 years previous, my old old laptop died too, along with all my photos. So I have like, no photographic evidence of anything that happened pre-5 years ago…You’d have thought I’d learn to back up my files when that happened, but no. Thankfully, I have now discovered Dropbox.
I thought I’d share a couple of my faves from the last 5 years:
1. That time I took Halloween too seriously
We’d just moved in to our first flat together in Bristol, and I’d just started college. Let’s just say I had a lot of free time on my hands.
(I sported that pink streak on and off for a whole year. #teenlife)

2. River rafting in Croatia
Hands down one of the best experiences of my life, river rafting with N and my family in Croatia in 2012 was much, much fun. Also Croatia is beautiful and I love it.

3. Renting a boat in Corfu
Usually, I avoid travelling by ocean as best I can; migration via land is definitely my preferred method. However, even though the water was bloody freezing, renting a boat in Corfu was relaxing and fun. We found plenty of beautiful turquoise lagoons to jump in, and I didn’t want to throw up at any point!

4. Apparently going mental at Disneyland
I’m not sure if you can really see my excitement in this photo. It’s dubious, but I assure you I freaking love Disneyland!

5. Walking in London
I think we were in London for Marketing Week Live (question mark?), and yes, I know, muy geeky. But mainly, I like this photo because I was feeling pretty proud of my decision to quit University a couple of months previous. At this point, I’d finally figured out what I wanted to do, had got myself a job, and was planning to buy my first home.
Also my hair was on point.

6. On top of a really, really high mountain in Barcelona
When we visited Barcelona last year, we kind of stumbled across this crazy place called Tibidabo; a theme park on top of a mountain, overlooking the whole of Barcelona. All I have to say is, best . views . ever !

7. Adopting our furbaby!
This was taken 15 minutes before we took our little French piglet home for the first time! Look at how small and squishy she was! >.<

8. Pancakes & Plymouth
This year, for our 7th anniversary (of being together, we are not married), N surprised me with a weekend trip to Plymouth for some shopping and delicious things to eat! On the way, we stopped off at an American style diner for these bad-boys, and they were lusshh.

What’s your favourite photo from the last 5 years?
