I remember when Uneeka first opened as a tiny boutique in Lemon Quay Market.

Now they have 2 shops and a cafe in the heart of Truro, called Uneeka.home (City Road, Truro), Uneeka.life and CafeUneeka (Boscawen Street, Truro).

I’ve always been a fan of their beautiful, ethically sourced products; everything they stock is quirky, yet tasteful, from candles to crockery, handbags and jewellery.

I would buy most things in their perfectly designed Life shop if I could. It’s the perfect place to find memorable gifts too.

How adorable is that bulldog necklace above? I couldn’t resist taking a photo. It’s not often I’m tempted to hang a china ornament or miniature jar of sweets around my neck.

The Uneeka.life shop also stocks some great skincare and beauty brands. I can’t get over the packaging!

Upstairs at the Uneeka.life shop, is the quaint CafeUneeka, selling homemade soups, sandwiches, salads and cakes, many of which are gluten free and vegan. They have a new Spring/Summer menu at the moment so be sure to check it out!

The guys at Uneeka very kindly gave me 2 of their beautiful, 100% recycled notebooks; one for me and one to give away!

  1. I miss everything when I’m away in Bath >.< In my head, they're still that teeny tiny cute shop :P Their stuff is always so lovely! I'll have to come and explore their other places when I'm back for the summer ^.^

  2. I bloody love that shop! :) Haven’t tried the cafe yet though. I’ve popped my head up a few times and it looks lovely. Might have to make the effort next time I’m in Truro rather than go to Spoons for the umpteenth time.

    1. Ahahah always Spoons! I can’t remember the last time I didn’t revert to that when wandering around Truro…you just can’t beat the value! x

  3. I love stationery. Used to love new terms at school when I could stock up on new supplies. Still love writing letters, sending cards etc. :) Writing letters are always more personal (for me) than an email. :)

  4. Yes! I love an buy loads of pretty stationery mostly because I know it will look pretty on my desk lol!

  5. Yes! It’s that beauty of perfect untouched notebooks & pens, or different coloured paperclips…it’s like an addiction!

  6. I love to write so I do collect stationary, plus I’m a student and use it for that too :)

  7. Are you a stationary lover? Tell me why! . . . . . . . . l love stationery – it so much more personal than emails

  8. It started when I was at school and I was given a really pretty diary with a lock which I started writing in. I enjoyed the writing and bought a notebook with an op-arty cover to jot notes in. From there I started to buy any notebooks and pens which I found attractive and still do, especially when I travel abroad and can find unusual ones. Many I write in but others I use as decorations in my room.
