Thank you March for the lovely weather this weekend!
I have been feeling ridiculously Summery now that Spring has arrived, so after taking Pepper for a walk in Tehidy Woods on Saturday, I thought it would be nice to take in some of that beautiful sea air on North Cliffs between Portreath and Godrevy.
The view was stunning (as usual), and yet again my 18-55mm kit lens can’t quite do it the justice it deserves. If anyone has any recommendations for a good wide-angle prime lens for a Canon 600D please let me know!
Pepper’s first time on the cliffs proved to us that there is no way we would let her off the lead up here! I don’t know if people actually do that, but she definitely isn’t sensible enough to cope.
The grassy bit above is actually just above a 20 foot drop, and Pepper kept clambering to explore it!
We had a lovely afternoon in the sun, and managed to start painting the wall in our conservatory when we got back, as Pepper was fast asleep after all her walks.
I just had to include these photos of her from the weekend; this is her new ball from Rosewood Pets and she’s in love with it!
N and I decided to make pizzas for dinner, using cheese & garlic pizza bases from Morrisons, barbecue marinade, mozzarella, basil and salami.
Unfortunately I failed to get any after photos of the pizzas once baked, because I am evidently unable to control myself around food and therefore completely forgot to take photos.
I hope everyone’s having a great weekend!
beautiful photos and beautiful pepper…as always!! xx
Awh thank you haha :) x
I Love North Cliffs! my family live in Illogan which is right near Tehidy so that area is naturally one of my main haunts! ♥ Do you ever go to the Rogue Theatre events that they put on in the woods? they’re magical :) I wouldn’t dare let my Springer Milly off the lead by the cliffs either – She’d do something pretty daft :( xxx
Awh we live on Illogan Highway so us too! Probably seen you around but not realised before haha :)
And yes I went to see Rogue’s play in the woods two years ago- I can’t remember what it was called there was something to do with a girl and a box, and on the walk in to the woods there was a piano playing itself haha. X
Ahh that area is beautiful! And your dog is adorable <3
Thank you :) x
What stunning views – all the better for blowing the cobwebs off! Pizza looks pretty delicious too!
It was! Just such a shame I forgot to take photos of it once cooked :(
Just seen the pizza post on your blog too; YUM! x
I think it must have secretly been pizza blog week last week – everyone was getting me so hungry sharing some great pictures of them!
It is like you posted this just for me so I get to see Cornwall – miss it so much! We want to get a boston terrier or a french bulldog next – our dog loves them so much! Kinda crazy dogs though!
Awh! We considered a Boston too, but they seem to be really rare in England (or the South West at least), and we decided we wanted the shorter, squishier version in the end :)
French Bulldogs are hilarious; they have the funniest expressions, but yes you’re right they’re pretty crazy! We kind of thought they’d be an easy breed seeing as they’re small and ‘don’t need much exercise’.
It was lies; Pepper is mental haha! x
So I hear tell! Our dog always makes a beeline for these little dogs in the dog park, which is why we want one – for her. And they are energetic to keep up with us and they always seem just that little bit bonkers! Love them!
Such lovely photos! I do so wish I coud take a trip down to Cornwall, it looks so beautiful! x
Awh you should! With Spring in bloom is the best time to visit :) x
