Heartlands
Explore the heritage Cornish tin-mining site and beautiful gardens with your furry friend, and enjoy a delicious brunch in the dog-friendly Red River cafe!
Holywell Bay
With plenty of sand dunes to run up and down, and a fresh-water stream to cool off in, Holywell Bay provides a great mass of open space to tire out your dog!
Newquay
Crantock, Towan, Watergate Bay and Fistral beaches are all dog-friendly during the Summer, and there are plenty of hotels and holiday cottages around the area that welcome pets too.
Eden Project

Trelissick Park Walk
Trelissick is famous for it’s stunning maintained gardens, but if you’re looking for a dog-friendly (and less expensive!) option, the woodland walk around the park is great too, with a beach at the end for a quick dip!
Trebah Gardens
Explore the beautiful tropical-looking gardens and head to the beach at the end for the perfect afternoon with your pooch!
Hayle Beach
Follow the river along to Hayle beach and explore the dunes with your dog. There’s plenty of space and there’s usually stunning views across the bay to St. Ives too!
Perranporth
The vast expanse of beach is hugely popular for dog owners in the Summer due to the amount of space on the sand and in the surrounding dunes. You can stop off for a bite to eat at the infamous Watering Hole too, which welcome dogs with open arms!
Pendennis Castle
With gorgeous views of Falmouth, the walk around Pendennis castle is perfect for dog-owners and history lovers alike
Tintagel Castle
The famous English Heritage site is dog-friendly and full of incredible history, making it the perfect place for the whole family.
Tehidy Woods
With several different entrances and walk-length options, Tehidy woods provides a quiet, shady and sheltered place to take your dog during particularly hot days.
Loe Beach
Got your dog a life jacket? Why not take him for a trip on a kayak or rowboat in Carrick Roads? It’s a pretty memorable experience, and the guys at Loe Beach don’t mind!

I know it’s a tourist trap (the boyf had never been) but we found lands end really dog friendly. And Pendennis is a regular walk of ours. I’m always amazed by how much more dog friendly places are in Cornwall. The restaurants in Mylor all allow dogs much to our pooches enjoyment! I didn’t know loe was dog friendly though. Good knowledge!
Ah that’s great! I totally forgot to include Pendennis – must get down there soon!
As for Lands End, that’s good to know :) I rarely go there as it’s a bit of a trek from where I am, but might be nice for a day out.
