Pepper turned 2 years old this week, so I’m making this week all about her having a grand old time!
This morning, Pepper and I took advantage of the early morning sun and low tide, and whizzed down to Portreath beach for a run around before work. There’s nothing better than a vast expanse of empty beach to play on!
We’re lucky to live just a few minutes from this beach, meaning (when work loads allow) we can pop down at the quieter times of day to enjoy a good game of fetch.
Of course it helps now that the dog beach bans are over here in Cornwall, so we don’t have to wait until after 7pm to visit!
Pepper goes mental for the waves.
One day I’d love to teach her how to swim; at the moment we don’t actually know if she can or not… which sounds silly but actually French Bulldogs are known for not being able to swim very well!
Heck, I’d also love to take her out paddleboarding one day! #Goals.
The light down at the beach was amazing at this time of the morning, and I’m so glad I got up that little bit earlier to enjoy it! Pepper was definitely grateful for the trip too.
I made another little video of our adventure – I hope you enjoy! Don’t forget to subscribe to my channel too :)
Where’s your favourite place for early morning photos?
