Friday Favourites #8
This has basically turned into a list of funny articles from the internet now.
That may or may not be because I have little-to-no life outside the internet these days, and so have nothing else to contribute other than funny memes and interesting articles.
Oh well.
1. Never ever say ‘I’m bored’ again
Y’know when your mum used to say that “If you’re bored, you must be boring“? Well, it’s kind of true. Read this article and never let those words leave your lips again.
2. Booking my summer holiday!
We didn’t go abroad in 2015, and the past 12 months overall have been pretty mental, so as soon as January came around we couldn’t resist scouring the internet for the laziest, most luxurious holiday we could think of/afford.

3. ‘Games to play with your child in which you barely have to move or talk‘
Is this not the best thing you’ve seen on the internet ever? I don’t even have kids and I laughed out loud. To anyone reading this who has kids: you’re welcome.

4. This very thorough guide to registering as self-employed in the UK
I met with the lovely Alex from Serpentine Shores last weekend (that event alone couldn’t not make my Friday Favourites!) to discuss all things freelance, and we returned to our homes with still a lot of questions on our minds. The next day, I found this article, and I have to say it answered a lot of those questions!
5. Regina’s brilliant take on Drake lyrics
There is apparently a lot we can learn in life and in business from Drake. Who knew?

And that’s that. I haven’t even had any ‘non-favourites’ this week (other than a triage of stress-dreams about dogs, WordPress and unemployment… don’t ask), so that’s a win!

That list of games to play is perfection! Bring on having kids!! (or not yet…y’know…in the future at some point or summin’) Alice xx
