Mate, that’s too many Fs. Nobody needs that many Fs in a post title, what’s wrong with you.
Sometimes my love for alliteration gets the better of me, soz.
What with all the festivities and fun (more Fs – rly?) over the past two weeks, it’s fair to say I’ve had a brilliant fortnight! In fact, it’s felt like forever, in the best kind of way.
1. A truly magical wedding
Alex and Matt’s wedding on Frenchman’s Creek this month was a truly beautiful event, and I am still touched that we were invited to witness the day. Our ‘blogger table’ had a fantastic time and couldn’t hold back our admiration of Alex’s totally Pinterest-worthy decor – it was gorgeous!
2. Autumn mornings and fungi
Aren’t September mornings the best? The light is inspiring. Also (and this may seem a little odd) I love nature at this time of year; in particular the different types of mushrooms and lichen around the place – perfectly captured by Anya’s photos.
3. All the birthday meals
There was a period of about 5 days during this fortnight where we didn’t spend a single evening meal at home, thanks to extended family birthday meals and one aforementioned wedding in between.
I don’t think I’ve ever been so full in my life, but we also discovered some new and delicious places to eat along the way!
4. This beautiful quote about life
I saw this on Hannah’s blog two days ago and had to share; I’d never come across this quote before but it perfectly sums up my own feelings about us humans:
5. Visiting Helford village for the first time
In a bid to explore Helford river (my new fave place!) more, we drove over there last Saturday and treated ourselves to a coffee with a view at the Shipwright Inn in Helford village.
The tiny village is possibly the most quaint, beautiful place I’ve been to in Cornwall yet! It reminds me of the untouched quirky-ness of the Isles of Scilly.
6. Launching our French Bulldog t-shirt store!
Yup! This week N and I launched our Frenchie t-shirt store and have already had a couple of sales trickling in so far. I’ve been creating the designs and setting up the website over the past month and now it’s ready to go – yay!
What have you been up to this September?

I’ve been to Helford river before but never the village! Sounds lovely and isn’t that quote just amazing!
