Private Beaches Around Pendennis Point (Zennor Bikini)

It’s unbelievably rare to find a private spot in Cornwall during August.

And yet somehow, yesterday Olivia and I managed to find just the spot – in Falmouth of all places! On a walk around Pendennis Point we clambered over the rocks to get to this secret spot, which (all except for a couple of dogs who came running up to us for 5 minutes) was totally empty.

The sun came out for us too, just at the right time! The last few days have been ridiculously hot and humid, but the clouds have been unpredictable, so it was a nice surprise to have some sunshine while we took photos.

I recently became a brand ambassador for Zennor Bikini; a unique UK swimwear brand inspired by Cornwall. Their bikinis and swimsuits come in a range of gorgeous pastel patterns and colours that are definitely mermaid-esque.

If you didn’t already know, Zennor is a seaside village in Cornwall, famous for its legend of the ‘Mermaid of Zennor’, known for having the most beautiful voice and features.

The bikini featured here is the ‘Submerged’ top & bottoms; one of Zennor Bikini’s most popular designs. I love how all the swimwear is reversible, so this design can be turned into a bright pink number if you fancy it!

I have to say, a year ago I probably wouldn’t have posted these photos! It feels like I’ve had a big confidence shift lately and over the past few months I’ve been working hard to get healthier, so hence why I feel positive about posting these up. Also, Olivia always seems to make anyone look great – so thanks gurl, it’s great to have friends like you :P

I can’t wait to build a collection of cute bikinis like this – it’s going to be perfect for my surf holiday in September! They’re such a flattering shape and the patterns are adorable.
