Where to see Fireworks in Cornwall, November 2016

I hope you’re suitably excited for bonfire night in Cornwall! I know I am.

Not only is bonfire/fireworks night the epitome of everything Autumnal, it also signals the beginning of the exciting lead up the Christmas!

Truro (Tremorvah Playing Fields) – Friday 4th November

Admission: £3 (adults), £1 (children over 4)

This event opens at 5pm, with fireworks set off at 6:45pm, and raises money for Cornwall Air Ambulance and Penhaligon’s Friends.

Falmouth (Falmouth Cricket Club) – Saturday 5th November

Admission: £4 (adults), £2 (children under 12)

This event opens at 6pm with fireworks being set off at 7pm, and raises money for Falmouth Community Fire Station.

Redruth/Pool/Camborne (Heartlands) – Saturday 5th November

Admission: Free/Donations (parking £2)

This event opens at 6:30pm, with the bonfire being lit at 7pm and fireworks at 8pm. There will also be a fairground and food & drink.

Penzance (Magpies Football Ground) – Saturday 5th November

Admission: Free/Donations

This event opens at 6pm with fireworks starting at 7pm. The display is also set to music!

Bodmin (Priory Park) – Saturday 5th November

Admission: £3.50 (adults), £2 (children)

This event opens at 6pm with fireworks starting at 7.30pm, and is also accompanied by music. There will also be a fairground and hot food, and is known for being the biggest display in North Cornwall!

Newquay (Mermaid Inn) – Saturday 5th November

Admission: Free/donations

This event opens at 6pm and it’s recommended you book a table if you plan to have a meal at the Inn beforehand!

  1. I miss bonfire night! We might buy some sparklers and Catherine wheels for the garden this year. Although it is only a few days away – maybe we will have to do it next year instead actually!

  2. Where are you heading out to see the fireworks Anna? I want to take my boys but I need one on a small crowd kind of scale. My parents will be doing a mini fireworks sesh in their garden for my boys on Sunday. Xx
