On the 1st of October, all the dog owners in Cornwall have one thing on their minds…
“The dog bans are over…get to the beach, NOW!” <— (feel free to say this in the style of Terminator)
It’s a great bit of extra freedom and fun for our pooches, knowing that we don’t have to drive an extra 15 minutes to get to a beach without a seasonal dog ban (Easter day til October 1st). Pepper was certainly very happy with this outcome…
My sister and I took Pepper down to Porthtowan beach. The weather has been peachy over the past week, and all the beaches on the North coast have been perfectly still and calm – perfect for puppy paddling!
My sister, Miranda, was a fully committed dog-aunt, and didn’t mind getting soaked in the process!
I took this as the perfect opportunity to try out the new camera lens I got for my birthday. With a focal length of between 10 – 18mm, it’s great for wide-angle landscape shots and interior photography; much excite!
PS. You better appreciate my Florence & The Machine reference.
How lovely, life is always so much easier without dog bans. I just wish we lived nearer the sea as Leo loves frolicking in the sea! xx
I love how wet Miranda got! Such a sunny afternoon too so I guess it didn’t matter too much! I want a paddle in the sea with Pepper! :D Alice xx

Bet that feels good then!
Buckets & Spades
Hooray for dog beaches! The first day of october on Gylly was amazing to behold, they were all just so happy! I’m a little less happy about the quantity of sand that makes it back into the house now, mind you!
