The Best Wedding, Couple & Portrait Photographers in Cornwall
It’s the dream job; living in Cornwall and taking stunning photos of happy, Cornish people!
These lucky people I know get to do that for a job. How cool is that?
I started a Facebook group last year called Cornish Creatives, and we’re slowly getting bigger. I’ve come to realise that I’m surrounded by some incredible talent in this little county of ours, and I wanted to give these guys a shout out not only for their awesome skills, but for their ambition and for being a great inspiration for all aspiring freelancers!
Alex at Serpentine Shores: Lifestyle, Couples & Wedding Photography
When I started this blog and was doing research into fellow Cornish bloggers, Alex was the first one to pop up! Her Cornish lifestyle blog is an amazing portfolio of her talent itself; if you love Cornwall you need to read it!

We’ve known each other for nearly a year now, and I felt so honoured when she reached out to me the other day offering to take some couples photos of N and I at our location of choice – Porthtowan.

It was a stunning evening, and although we both felt kind of awkward to begin with (we’re not the most couple-y of couples), we soon felt at ease, and I’m in love with how the photos turned out; just look at that lighting <3

Olivia Bossert: Fashion, Portrait & Wedding Photography
I met Olivia (editor in chief of Atlas magazine!) for the first time in February while she took some pro portrait shots for my website, and we instantly clicked! I’ve since had the pleasure of working with her on her logo design for her blog and photography website.

I love the dreamy style of her photos, and as a fashion magazine editor, she has an amazing eye for a great portrait (ie. you don’t have to be a model – or anything close – for her to make you look great!).

Sarah at Salty Sea: Couples, Engagement & Wedding Photography
I featured Sarah here on the blog last year, earmarking her as my future wedding photographer and generally showing off her stunning photos! She’s planning to move back down to Cornwall in the Summer to pursue her photography career full-time.

Sarah was another one I originally found through doing research about other Cornish bloggers; while she currently lives in Bath, much of her writing is about Cornwall, nature and her every day life. Her writing is equally as beautiful as her photography, and I was lucky enough to attend a creative writing workshop by her a few weeks ago in Porthleven!

^ This is actually Alex (Serpentine Shores) & her man, taken by Sarah – yes everyone knows everyone here in Cornwall :P
I also want to include some people who I’ve only recently had the pleasure to meet, but who, again, have opened my eyes to the incredible talent we have here down in the South West:

I think what I love about these photographers the most is that, as well as having their own unique styles and ways of working, they share a certain Cornish-ness in their approach to imagery as well. I can’t put my finger on it, but it’s there!

Thank you so much! You’re so sweet. <3
Fab post! So many amazing creatives in Cornwall – aren’t we lucky! xx
Hannah | Oh January
Ahhh some gorgeous photos!! I’m looking for some photos of Evie and I to be taken on the beach. I need to speak to one of these photographers but I can’t choose which one! xxxx
