3 Things About Spring
Can you believe it’s March right now? Please world, slow down, I want to get off.
That sounds a bit dramatic, but honestly I don’t know how this year is going so fast, I am not ready and have not done anything I said I’d do by Spring yet!!
Despite this shock, I do really love Spring.
We all love the warmer weather, but there are 3 things in particular that I like about this season…
1. Flowers galore!

Don’t a good bunch of flowers make Instagram life so much easier? (Is it just me that has been struggling each day with nothing but Wintry greyness to photograph?)
When the fields and hedgerows start bursting with colour again, my desire to leave the house and be a part of it dramatically increases.
2. Getting your feet out!

Yikes – feet close-up!
There is nothing a Cornish gal like me enjoys better than having the sand between her toes and her ankles exposed to a warm breeze. As you can see by the dazzingly white tone of my skin, these feet haven’t seen the light of day in months.
Clarks very kindly sent me these sandals to try out, and I have to say I really do love them! I can’t wait to start wearing them more often as the weather gets (consistently) better; they’re so comfortable, and exactly my style.
3. So much cake

This may seem random, but Spring always reminds me of cake, more so than Christmas even. Cake for mother’s day, cake for Easter, cake for all the birthdays that seem to all land suspiciously in March & April. Just all the cake okay pls thnks.
(FYI, this particular coffee cake was NOT homemade – gracious no. I do not possess those kind of skills.)
So, those are some of my favourite things about Spring! What are yours?

Not homemade?! What are you playing at?? ;) Lovely sandals, great flowers! YAY SPRING!!! So good to see you the other day too, I had such a lovely day in Cornwall :D Alice xxx

Woo! Get me to Cornwall! I’m thinking Cornish blogger beach picnics once the weather picks up! AND I’ve never been to Mevagissey so that’s on my list! xxx
